Ivan Lo

Ivan founded Alley-Oop Learning Center in 2021 and built it from the ground up — personally shaping its educational philosophy, individualized instruction model, assessment process, curriculum, and teacher training. Across more than 15 years in education, he has worked at nearly every level of the field, from classroom teacher to instructional coach.
A first-generation Chinese American raised in a hardworking immigrant family, Ivan knows how life-changing the right support and mentorship can be. He's especially passionate about helping students who have fallen behind rebuild their confidence — and he built ALC to be a genuine educational community, not a prepackaged tutoring franchise.
